Q: When does this program run?
A: June 15th-July 23rd, Monday-Friday, 8 AM-12 PM
Q: Where will the program be held this summer?
A: Visit our locations page to identify your district’s campus(es).
Q: Does this course require experience in coding to be accepted?
A: No! In fact, we encourage students with no experience to register.
Q: Who processes the student registrations?
A: Administrators and/or teachers in the district process student registrations to determine each applicant’s status (accepted/waitlisted).
Q: When will I know if I have been accepted or put on a waitlist?
A: Students will know their status as soon as the administrators and/or teachers in their district have processed the registrations.
Q: Are students allowed to miss any days?
A: Yes. Students may miss up to 3 nonconsecutive class days.
Q: What if students have vacations or camps planned, but still want to participate?
A: Code to Success offers an online option for those students that would be missing a significant number of days. The online option is available for a fee.
Q: Why is there a fee for the online option?
A: The online option has a mentor structure that students have to subscribe to. This structure is outside of Code to Success, and thus requires a fee.
Q: Who teaches the course?
A: Code to Success is self-guided through a professionally developed web-based curriculum. Facilitating teachers and mentors are at each campus to assist students with coding problems and explain methods.
Q: What materials do I need for Code to Success?
A: All materials are provided except for headphones. Desktops are provided at each campus.
